Philosophy of education

Education must make a human being more humane, but if it is not the case then certainly there are basic flaws in our education system. Indeed, it depicts the brim picture of the educational system. Now, we experience that education has nothing to do with the basic human values and elements. It has become a play of gaining pelf and power. Many more things are being attributed with the education.

Education must make a man more elastic and flexible so that he may be well-adapted with the existing environment and, of course, be able to acquire and sprout new creative ideas. What does it mean by creative ideas? Well, the ideas which bring forth mirth and inspiration into the learners’ mind. But it is not taking place. After acquiring certain sorts of education people are seen getting distracted from their folks and becoming self-centered in their attitude and affinity. They have nothing to do with society and nation.

Having received certain kinds of education, the learners cease to behave like a true human and begin to consider themselves mere-earning-machine. In a nut shell, it can be said that they want to axe their grind and they want to quench their thirst by earning more and more money at any cost. They are not ready to comprise with their coziness and always seem discontented and distracted. Earning money is not a bad idea but it must be based on pious means. Pious means means that it should not be earned by exploiting another human. It should not be based on amoral ways.

It is a pity that attaining of education has become a game and has turned into a full-fledged industry. By using money power education is received and after acquiring the same money with interest is taken from the society in various forms. It can be termed commercialization of education which is very dangerous for the very fabric of human societies. In the race of commercialization and snatching more and more booty from the ocean of pelf the so called educated people have forgotten that they are in real terms, assailing at the root of sublime thought of education.
